There was a guy named "an_idiot" with a "speed hook" on CG yesterday ! His missiles were X2 or X3 faster than ours !!!...
That was clear in SexStreet because he was trying to hide and drive but his deemers were that fast that he never could go where he wanted !!!
If he'd know how to spray, he should have win !!!
He was playing with same IP (a LAN) than another guy called "targetpractice" without the speed cheat but very bad player too !
But the cheater couldn't win anyway so he's not been kicked 
isn't there a line of code that reads the cheat and denies the user to connect???

We should ban his behind anyway. If this was just his first attempt, he might adjust his speed so it's controllable for him. I also don't like the idea that he could show up during the Tourney with the SRA people.

Yes of course but if he had been a trouble in a serious moment, he'd be banned in less than the first minute ! 😉
If there is proof of cheating the person should be banned, period.
C.G doesnt have cheat protaction and all the admins were supposed to of been killed too so how did you know he was using a cheat and not just one hell of a bad player ????

Without a "speed hook", you can't have that fast deemers !!! You should have seen that !... Not a lil bit faster but about X2 or X3 faster !!! (no less)

I've seen the same "speed hook". Always thought it was a hiccup in the map or flaw in the program. And the speed is closer to 4 or 5 times that of a regular redeemer.
I don't see a newbie or a bad player using this but someone who has been around for awhile....who just wants to get better.

Dunno 'bout anybody else but to me there's a big difference between wanting to get better and cheating.

I don't think that's what he meant. THe way to get better is to practice and participate in the game. This guy should be banned if he was cheating, even if he was still a terrible player.
True, CG does not have cheat protection. I have never needed it. Even the cheaters usually know better. The game is usually to fast paced to be able to use a cheat properly. True I removed the admin ability from most of the admins but only because I have mods that now manage most of the situations that would require an admin. There are still several admins and they know exactly what to do and when to do it when they are needed and are on the server. Forums like this also help us to watch for certain players and behaviors so we can observe and decide for ourselves when people need to be kicked or banned or watched further. Thanks all!
I just can not imagine a deemer flying at 4 or 5x speed. Do you folks that have seen this know if it is the same on a non-guided deemer?
If so, then this could be the end of an era. Aimbots are useless with deemers, as I have seen someone try and use one. Suicided more than fraged.
I have never seen radar, but I imagine that it is useless as well.
Fast redeemers,OTOH, would be unstoppable in the right hands.

I just do not get why someone would want to cheat anyways. It proves nothing, except that the cheater has no real skills.
