CG will be down!

I will be turning off CG tonight from 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM Central Standard Time in anticipation of the what should be the largest gathering of Redeemer Arena players in one spot ever! Yes, I'm speaking of the Clan DOU vs SRA group tourney that (I think) is being held tonight at the -=ClanDOU Redeemer Server=- . I personally don't care who shows up. I just hope that we fill it up to the gills the blood of the [FAH] (just kidding). I want to be a part of this badly because I think it's cool as hell and I think it will be the biginning of something bigger than any of us have seen before in the world of Redeemer Arenas. I'm hoping it becomes a weekly ritual. Many people play only the populated servers. This server will be near the top of the list tonight for all to see! Tell your friends and then come and join the insanity! If someone actually sees a full 32 player list at the end of a game, take a damn snapshot of it and post it up for all to see. See you tonight! Muhahaha...

I do believe that somewhere 7PM tonight was discussed. I'll be there.

I didn't have anything set up as nobody got with me directly. I figured we would do the "official" game after the new year.

Lets consider tonight a practice run πŸ™‚

Yeah, it was sorta hard to do it this close to a major holiday. In some parts it is already Christmas Eve if not Christmas already.

And a good practice run it was. Your server was really smokin' there, Tommy.

I know that Moon had some ping issues. I would suppose that it is because he is in France. Could be some deep sea critters chewing on the cables. Who knows.

I had no issue with lag at all. Even on Fractal, where the small size often produces lag issues.

I am dying to know what kind of hardware you run.

It's not a home machine, it's a dedicated server through a hosting company. The front page of the site ( http://escapedturkey.com/ ) gives the hardware details. But suffice it to say that if you yourself have a good connection, due to the hardware and the fat pipe they have, we would not be able to lag the server out πŸ™‚ For the "Official" tourney we will have, I will jack the player limit all the way up to 32 πŸ™‚ To be honest, I didn't even realize anyone was going to play today. I fell asleep, woke up later, and saw a gazillion people in TS and realized something was up, lol. Glad I didn't miss all of it thought.
