Anyone have any comments and/or suggestions about the redeemer server? Whats great? What could be better? Is it time to officially announce the server and advertise it?

What do peeps think about the speed when guiding i thought that it was a little too fast and might put new players off trying this mod have seen this happen many times other then that all seams ok.

It had been awhile since I played so I thought it was just me. Yeah, it does seem it bit fast. Makes it a tad difficult to control in tight places.
It don't matter one way or the other to me, but Darkmatter has a point that it may turn off newbies to the site.

Yup thats what i was getting at having played the time i have its not a problem, i was thinking more for tommy and getting new people to play better to ease them in gently 😆 😆 but only needs slowing down a touch

I will drop the redeemer speed from 100 percent to 75 percent. Let me know how it goes...too fast still, or too slow. I can adjust by percent.

Yea the speed is ok right now....you might try droppin in 10 untits...90 insteadof 75....or whatever. It's already good to go in my book so any tweaks are ok.
A few things some or all I'm sure your aware of.

Score board at top has something like 'Clan Dou Sniper Server'
Redeemer pick ups...I think there is a setting that will allow you to turn off the pickup points.
Other than that all is great, I like the server lots. Will be nice to see some players on at the same time to see how laggy it will get.

The good, the bad, and the ugly...
I took out the redeemers laying all over the place per numerous requests. No need to have them littering up the place if we have unlimited ammo.
I added back the artifacts such as health vials, armor, invis, megahealth, and damage amplifier.
I decreased the speed of the redeemer from 100% to 70%...but I don't think it is doing anything. I am gonna just have to assume that this mutator was written for a previous version of UT99 and the speed adjustment "broke" when 4.51 came out. I'll look at it a bit more but right now it's not looking so good. I do have the redeemer speed setting set correctly so there may not be much of anything I can do.
