Ummm... is there any way to make the teleport thingy invisible to the other players because it's a giveaway when you need to get into a spot and everyone knows the idea of UT Sniper Server is stealth...

It's a plus and minus issue. On the plus side, it lets you get into places where you normally couldn't get to and on the minus side is the light show while you're doing it.
Kinda balances out IMO.

I did see somthing about how to do it. I think on LOL's web site. I'll check if you guys want.
Its a mutator...and I used it awhile back....can't recall if I got it still. Search the web for it, should be able to DL it still.
Lame to use tho IMO. It's a balance thing...I'd prefer to be able to transloc somone's ass than to have it invisi on the server. Also hard to tell if you shoot at an enemys transloc if it realy is fubar or still active...I luv killin peeps by shootin there transloc when it's parked as an escape 🙂
bs makes a stealth tran u can get it at utcamper.com it has no trail i think they make them for other clans too they have devlopment team make all kinds of stuff for ut

But I prefer to be seen because of my transloc some rare times and be able to localize others with their blue light !!!! It's precious for a real camper ! 😉
Lol, yeah, I don't know where this all started, but I don't want to change the translocator, using it is part of the game, and zooming in on people who are using it is part of the game.
As for me, If I am up high and someone doesn't know I am there and all of a sudden they throw up a translocator, I try to race over real quick and stand on top of it, then when they hit alt-fire the system thinks they were trying to telefrag me and all hell breaks loose, hahahaha. I laugh my ass off when I do that.

I think the DEA ladies have this stealth translocator on their server. Oddly enough, dont know why, but I have my trans set on my mouse for wheel down and it dont work there. Wheel up still works to scroll through the weapons (weapon as the case may be) though.
