I think the following maps should go bye bye. They offer few places to hide or camp outside of the secrets they hold and competition for those secrets gets people running and assaulting each other.
This most often will spill over into the next few maps that follow. It takes very little skill to sit in a secret and pick off people that don't know it's there. I think if we get rid of these maps a lot of the trouble will leave with them. If we lose a few runners... who cares ?
I'd like everyones feedback on this topic so feel free to express your opinion here, even if it's different from mine.
Here are the maps ...
1 - Bar Punky's snipe hunt ( run, run, run, and run some more. Ever spectate this map ?)
2 - Fog the sniper bar ( My spot, no my spot, no mine, no mine)
3 - IFC 18th Hole ( spawn kill heaven for R&G'ers)
4 - Kitchen Punky's snipe hunt ( run, run, run ...etc)
5 - Trofa Harbor (too small could be camped but rarely is)
6 - Trofa city north ( more assaulting to take, or take back secrets)
7 - Trofa city West (Camped more than the others but still trouble, who'd miss it)
8 - Wild wild west
9 - Gmc Church
10 - Ribiera
11 - Cabin fever
Personally, besides the fact that they're nothing but trouble, I'm tired of them and wouldn't miss them.Let me know also if you have suggestions for other maps that are nothing but trouble and should go!

We had a discussion on this in the DOU members only general chat area.
It was suggested that we replace the secrets maps with new ones..(I would like to see some fresh maps anyway)...
We also need suggestion for these.
I cannot think of the name but Tommy knows it...A Xmas map, mini-me style, one room with a fireplace, Xmas tree and presents under it. Bison and I used to play it at NSA's server years ago.
I will try to get on some other servers soon and see what else I can come up with.
Don't forget "Cabin Fever" to the list. If there was an easy way to get a list of maps presently on the server, I could compare it to the maps I have aquired over the years to see if there is anything worth trying.
Good suggestions guys. We're a camping clan, we should have camping maps.
The pain in the ass players get bored on camping maps, maybe they'll leave 😛

May help me feel more comfortable getting on the public server again. Punky's with 15 peeps is not too fun.
Will it hurt anything to drop these maps right now and replace them as we find the new maps?

No, I don't think it will be too painful. I will do it in just a bit.

P.S. I am going to back the maps up first and then leave then on the web space in case we ever need then for anything in the future( i.e. 5 years from now when 3-4 people is a good crowd on the server).

Yup...the only rule I ever enforce on that map is the 'no teaming' rule and only then if it is brought up.

why not switch it with the FN one.. the one omega had a match on, i like that one better.
