Redeemers on the sniper server? – Page 2 – Clan {DOU} Unreal Tournament 99 Game Servers

This got started in another thread about a problem player. I'm starting it here so all can participate, member and guest alike. I think, at the least, it will be interesting to hear peoples views on the subject. That being ..... Redeemers in maps on the sniper server ? I like them, and I don't. They are fun for me when there are few players. I often use them to get an idea of where someone is hiding, even when I can't blow them up :lol: . The down side, from my perspective, is they are often used as a tool of revenge, something that is against our server rules. A player who gets shot ,that spawns anywhere near one is going to send that guided missle to do what they are not supposed to do in person. It's a gray area for me though, because usually it is done from a distance, just like you could do with your scope. We allow revenge from a distance, it's in our server rules. I defintely think we should offer the FN versions of maps without deemers or anything else you would not find in an FN map. No invisibility, Keg'o health, health. This would appeal to the purists and give them something they could vote for to satisfy their particular wants. What do the rest of you think about this topic ? Post and please be candid. mAmA

We know about the maps people like running on. You will notice less and less of them, Tommy's been deleting them 😆 . French Village was the latest to get sent to the recycle bin

JUst skimmed this thread...aka I did not read it. I can set up a column in the map vote for no redeemers (thought I did) but the 3 other columns will have deemers. It is the DOU way. It is part of our success. Suck it up home boys, nobody wants to live forever!

Well, maybe me, but that's another story.

Then you should also change the vote to 1 a piece no matter what your score. You get a few cum stains that win and only vote in the maps they no they can win on (aka maps w/secrets w/deemers in them) and keep running the vote.
