Someone Else

These events used to be held on a weekly basis and were very popular. It was not uncommon to see 12+ clan members attend a match.

However, Charger is very busy, and as such this has kinda died off a bit.

I am not looking to replace Charger here but rather I am looking for someone else who would like to volunteer to help set these matches up.

Your responsibilities would include:

01) Picking a time / day each weekend to hold the event, making sure that the practice server isn't scheduled for another event.

02) Have 5 maps picked ahead of time so that we aren't all banging heads at game time. You will choose from what is available on the practice server and need to choose maps appropriate for the number of people planning to attend.

03) Set the server before the match begins

04) Help new-comers to these matches by making sure they have the right skin and know the server I.P., etc.

05) Receive sign-up emails and assign players to teams based on this.

06) Sending a mass-email to all clan members once a week to let them know a match is coming up.

07) Anything else I am forgetting right now.

Your requirements include being honest in setting teams, being reliable and not blowing events off, and you must be able to use Team Speak. Team speak is very necessary for helping the noobs out.

Anyone who takes this position will be given full training and should understand that it is not difficult at all to do. The practice server is set up such that only a few mouse clicks will get it to where it needs to be.

You will not be required to be here each and every weekend 'til the end of time, but I am looking for someone who is generally available for weekend events. This is a time commitment of just a few hours a week. Charger will be available some weekends too, so the new person could check with him to see who will do what in any given week.
