After DOU and FSC know when they are playing next weekend, GetSum and I will pick a day / time. He told me there is a good chance as many as 10 FCS guys will attend. So while we are playing on the servers during the week, please look for very large maps. If you know of other large maps that aren't on the server, please let me know about them as well.

I really hope we can get a lot of DOU members involved in this as well. We have plenty, it's just a matter of getting everybody going.

FCS beat the better OMA team today in the ladder, and they did it with plain old fashioned good solid camping. Now we know who we really should be practicing with. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let's have a tourney with them and see if they are good guys or not.

I am having serious computer issues and will probably not be able to play.

After contracting a virus about a month ago, my system has not been the same. Whenever possible I am trying to resolve it with microsoft ( I'm up to a level 2 tech now, when I get to level 1, I hope I get fries...) but after about 25 plus hours logged, still no resolve. I keep getting some errant message that seems to have no real purpose, but each time it comes up it crashes my game. I can usually play between 10 and 20 minutes without a reconnect but that's it. This also accounts for my loss of my avatar in the forum.

If I can get it fixed I will be there

01) Level 2 Tech support is better than level 1. Avoid level 1 at all costs. Level 1 are the people who have no real skills and just read off of a piece of paper.

02) I don't understand how a virus on your local computer would account for the lost of a web avatar?

03) GetSum said he was looking forward to playing with you, so let's get this resolved.

Couldn't explain the loss of my avatar If I had to. The image is posted at image shack, not my computer. Coincidence ? Maybe. All I know is before the virus I had an avatar. I tried to re-establish a connection between the image and our forum but was unable to, I kept getting an error message.

I have been playing phone tag with the people at Microsoft lately, but I have put up with it because the help has been free. I am thinking about going to an "in-home" service to try to resolve this.

Any opinions or advice ?

If there is nothing of value on the computer, then reformat and reinstall.

Tell me, does the PC only reboot when you are playing UT or does it do it all of the time?

Yeah....reformatting would have been the easy go to if not for all the "stuff" of value. Tons of work related e-mails, etc....

Will only do as a last resort
