We are starting up a Sunday event where we are hosting another clan at our sniper server for a casual hour or two of fun. Just standard sniping/camping, no teams.
The first invite is to OSF and it is for 8pm Eastern on the 5th of November.
The second has been sent to HOH on the following Sunday, the 12th, also at 8pm.
The third invite I have so far has [lol] penciled in for 8pm on the 3rd of December.
This is just for an hour or two or if you can only stay for one map it is
cool too. All clan members are also encouraged to invite a friend if they
wish.
I forgot about our European members when I set these dates up so I will in the future shoot for around 5 pm Eastern or maybe set up 2 different times during the day. I am also looking at possibly some away dates as well.
I will need a volunteer to or two who wouldn't mind hosting these matches
when I am unavailable. They wouldn't have to do anything but be there for
the scheduled times. Anyone interested can PM me directly.

All that is required to host is to just be there and play.

The first event went off pretty well, IMO. We had as many as 14 people in the server and maintained around a dozen or so for the better part of an hour.
Killer Bee, Kate, Slacker, Sting and others with OSF stopped by which was more than I expected.
DOU had a good turn out and we all had quite a bit of fun.
Thanks to all who participated and remember next week it is HOH.
Maybe we could get together on their server for a visit earlier in the day? Not sure if I could attend but I will ask them about it if others want to.

Bad idea. If we do that then you run the risk of them becoming "gamed out" and not attending your event. On a different day would be better.

I had dinner plans so I missed the OSF event. I will, however, be able to attend the HOH event. I am looking forward to it

The only current scheduled Sunday is with [lol] on December 3rd at 8pm. I will try to remember to have a reminder sent out for this one like we did for the OSF invite. It wasn't done for HOH and turnout was pretty dismal.
I will try to work on getting more events set up but I want to set a new start time that will be friendly for our European members too. I will post a poll to settle that issue soon.
