It was discussed that DOU is a social club and should be continued as such. Many DOU Members do like to Compete but our main goal as a whole, is community. We, as a Social Clan should treat others with the respect they deserve until such time that the individual shows no hope as being a normal human being. Then and only then, do we cut them down to the low life dirt scum they represent.

2 on agenda

UT99 is getting old and may one day go the way of Pamela Anderson, gone but not forgotten, we need to look to the future for other games that will keep the clan strong, not saying we are dropping UT99. New recruits are also needed and we as a social group should be looking to recruit new members to stay on the leading edge of other clans, we would like to be the Clan to remain strong when others vanish. To achieve this goal we need to give new players a chance to learn and have a good relationship with current members, not being forced or scared to join the DOU family of clowns.

New players should not be pressured to join DOU. If asked and they decline, let it be. They may come around later and want to join. High pressure tactics will most likely drive them away forever.

If a new player wants to be a clan member please respond on the forum, If you plan on sponsoring a player please post first, and let other clan members react. The player you may like may be a total ass in everyone else’s opinion, or may be a great addition to the friendly dysfunctional group we have.

{DOU}Abberation: I would ask balony to join imo. So yea there I said it, we’ll all take Abb out back another time and beat him with a dead fish.

Bringing back DOU 2X2 ladder was discussed, and welcomed by all, The One and grubb show interest in getting this going.

Other games discussed for the future may include COD4, UT 2K4 Duke nuke forever will be looked at, and possibly others as suggested in the future.

UT24 is already running Team Freeze Tag, if you’re not in Saturday and Sunday 10am to whenever you’re missing a lot of fun.

Tommy is also working on a new custom server, no date for its start.

Security was discussed, and the years of logs that still need to be gone through, Bison is looking after this, help has been offered if needed by grubb and underhill.

The Ban on “FUN” has been lifted, those that cause trouble should be dealt with on an individual basis
