I would like to invite you to a New Years Bash. The bash is going to be taking place January 6, 2007 at 8 PM EST. The server is still unknown we will get back to you with server details very shortly.
We are hoping that DOU, OSF, OMA, and HOH will take part in this match. 5 people from each team are welcome to join, can change players at the end of a map if needed. We are looking at having 4 teams; colors will be chosen randomly by an outside person. For the freestyle/camping bash we would like for each team to pick one map a piece (please no secrets). We will all get together and choose a 5th map that will be agreed by all participating members. Please make sure that all maps are capable of holding 20 people.

Please be aware that she typed freestyle/camping bash, but since that doesn't make any sense I think she meant to type freestyle/sniping bash.
I guess they want us to play. They have wanted us to play for the longest time. But from the beginning I was told this would be a camping event. It's funny cause they invited HOH too, and I recommended HOH to them when they were looking for a 4th team because HOH camps.
So here is the deal. I do not want to play. Freestyle sniper is not my thing. I have too many other things that are my thing. I do enjoy playing it now and again, but not in a 4 clan match. I am not good enough anyway and would just get pummeled. But if there are 5 DOU that want to play, then by all means go in and play. They need to know asap as they want to have this event in a week I guess.
So please let me know and I will get back to them right away. If we aren't going to play then I need to let them know right away.
As a side note, this is pretty much like uzi but with a slightly different weapon. But the game play is almost identical. Add to that the fact that you can substitute players all you want between maps, and I think if you go ahead with this you could add some of the better uzi players to the match. Get Bob and cricket and toons in to play. The biggest difference is in the maps, it will most likely be sniper maps. So think of it as our sniper server with absolutely no rules.

I would play if we can get enough interest for a full 5, I play on TKK No-Rules almost daily and am comfortable with the style of play.

I'm waiting to found out what kinda rifle they are going to use. If it's the standard crouch-to-fire rifle than I would be more likely to play. If it's a R&G Zark Rifle than I would ask the uzi players like Cricket, SilentBob, General-D, and Toons because they are definately better than I at that style of play. I'm going to have to wait and see, though. I think I already have like 4 or 5 events set-up between DOU evenets and FN reffing. Anymore may bring about a divorce.LOL.

I was assuming a crouch to fire rifle, but then I don't really know, let me know when you find out.

Here is the skinny on the event.
It will take place on an OMA server. It should be a crouch-to-fire rifle. The rules are that you can pursue your enemies, hunt, revenge, etc.
We need 5, who is up for it? It will not conflict with our ladder match as they are several hours apart. I will not be playing however, but I will be around.

Someone who wants to play should take the lead on this. They'd need to know asap so DOU can pick a map of their choice. If you guys can't get 5 players confirmed pretty soon (the match is Sat) it would probably be better to tell them no instead of not telling them anything.
Let them know either way on this link as soon as possible.
