Sniper Team Practice...

I went on Sou chay, I saw Tommy, Ground zero, __J but it seems I was connected to any chat or everybody was sleeping ?... LOL 😉

I was on the server @ around 4:30 central and no one was there. Didnt know we needed to go to IRC first, Sorry 🙁

Tommy, my brother was on earlier 😆 he just loaded his disc yesterday so be gentle 8) He was on for a while then I dont know if he left then came back of was still on but when I joined the server he kept getting booted. He said he was getting some server issue message ❓ He wa on under the name BEEF_LIPS 😆 Maybe you can see what the issue was.

He was actually asking about it. I told him to make up an id here and to hang around a bit. Who knows 8)

I just ended 4 or 5 maps with Shortie, Darkmatter and... BEEF LIPS !!!

So, I don't think he could be a useful recruit for the team strength but : do we ask only good players to join or even youg players that just like this game ? I have no advice about that as a bad player can become a better one (I think it's what I try to !! 🙂 )

He just loaded the game 4 days ago 🙄 I wasn't any good when I started and I still get my ass smoked when I get on most of the time. He is use to playing the NASCAR & wrestling games on X box and hasn't had any experience with the first person shooter games. I told him that if we were on when no one else was on I would show him some stuff that I learned (and I told him that I am sure a few of my clan members would as well, like )(er)(es) and that he should just go through the actual game and practice. We'll see, he's my younger brother so he probably wont listen to me 😉

No problem with a rather bad new player Bison !!! As you said, we're not very good players for ourselves !

And the other day, I was on Alienclan where a player came and had some maps with a great skill and good scores. He won two or three games and then he asked some clan member "Am I good enough to join ?" and the answer was "no need to be good to join" !!!... 🙂

So I agree to that : I think is that a volunteer newbie can be a better recruit than a good one who quits after 2 weeks of demonstration !..

But that's why I said I had no advice on newbies to join : I'm not the admin !!! 😉

Skill is not considered when someone attempts to join the clan. I would hate to send away a good person just because they can't beat me in a game.

Skill is considered when we are playing other clans. Obviously, when we are defending the clan we will want our best to play. If that means I sit out as well, so be it. So long as we can fly the DOU flag high, thats all I am concerned with.

I'm glad you think that way. I'm not good enough to pretend ignore a young (or any age) newbie.

As I can't give lessons I can't think a game would be forbidden to anyone for a skill reason !

So, great to think n00bs can be invited to join. 😉
