What I am thinking...

Here is what I am thinking. It looks like we won't be playing any ladder matches for quite awhile. But of course we have all gotten used to matches and like to play them.

So I am thinking that we should still continue to play matches, but challenge other clans and accept other good challenges.

Because of the fact that so many of us got into the ladder, we have too many people for straight DOU battles. Yes, we struggle a lot to have enough people for the ladder but if we add both teams together then there will be too many people. We would send in the best players which means some people will then never get to play.

So I propose that we continue with the Alpha and Omega construct. This way everybody gets to play, and should the ladder come back we will have our teams seasoned and ready to go. Since there are no ladder exception rules, we can move people around as necessary at any time. But in a match, all those who show will play before someone from the other team comes in.

We could build a list of like 12 different clans that we would want to play. Then set up weekly matches with all of them. This way with 12 clans @ 4 weeks in a month, we'd only play each clan once every 3 months. There are plenty of clans out there so getting 12 will not be a problem. And if we don't like a clan or the way they play, we can just remove them from the mix and find someone else, no worries about a pre-defined liost of teams.

We had discussed doing this when we thought we would not play in season 2 of the FN ladder, I think now is the time to go ahead with it.
