I had bought a 5.1 Megapixel CCD camera and accidently cracked the LCD screen while it was in my coat pocket.
So I returned it to where I had bought it from to replace the screen in it to find out the price quote a month later included fixing a dent on one corner of the camera.
I had not dropped the camera nor did it have any scratches or dents on it when I had returned it to be fixed... it sounds like someone had mishandled it after I brought it back to the store.
The crack in the LCD screen was centralized in the center of the screen, not from the side of it.
Before it gets fixed I want to see this DENT!!!

I got my camera back from the shop(about $75.00 and three months later) and after seeing theese scratches that were on it were superficial and had nothing to do with the LCD being cracked at all... the repair shop replaced the "Scratched" casing at no cost but half of the bill was for repair services...
I don't know how this camera could ever get scratched in the first place because I kept it in a terry cloth pouch!!! but I'm glad that I got my camera back after all of the BS...

I only told them to replace the LCD but for them to replace the casing at no cost was pretty much a bonus...
