Maybe im not welcome

Tanner, you are welcomed. You just have to understand that it's what our Clan does. It's not just as our clan, it's probably every other clan too. It's real people, we can not control what other people say. You just need to learn to let it pass you and not affect you. You can't just let simple things like this get to you. If it upsets you to the point where you have to unplug your computer, I don't think that this is the right clan for you. I'm not saying you should quit because you are welcomed, but I'm saying if you wish to stay you should try to not let it affect you as much as it has already.

Well i dont here anyone in there calling others the N word or other slurs so why is that. why is it just the gay thing thats ok when your a gay person and youhear neg remarks being made about who you are all the time its hurtful. im sure if there was a person of color in here noone would be saying the n word like they throw the gay remarks around. And in other groups and clan i been in its not been a issue like is has inhere. I have no problems with it sometimes but to hear others putting you down for who you are on the forum and in the room gets old and like i said hurtful. I guess if i heard them saying things about blacks latinos and others would be diffrent. but so far just about gays so whats that say. Most in this clan think its ok to make nasty remarks or neg remarks about gays and its ok. but not about others. Noone should be making any neg remarks about anyone period no need for it. I am sorry you dont understand. but if youwhere one that was diffrent then most in here and all you heard where put downs and neg remarks about who you are and about no other group you start to wonder and its not something that your supposed friends would want you to feel bad or wouldnt say nasty things to begen with. From your post i was sorta surpised by your answer and remark that you take my complaint so none issue and basicly are telling me to get over sorry if we say things about gays that bother you but owell we are going to continue so get over it. Ok Tanner as your sponser you should have brought this up with me first but as you have made this public post I will deal with it in the same way. I personally have been playing on this server for 3-4 years and in the clan 3 years since Tommy has got to know myself and Razor (a friend of mine for 20 odd years) he has said we are gay or that I was hiding under his table etc other people in this clan call each other several different name's.

None of the name calling is taken personally as we are all friends here. Now if stranger in the game or in Vent called you or another player a name they would be corrected and asked to refrain from doing it. From what I can gather from reading the post nothing was directed personally at you. Yes you maybe gay and I have know several gay's to which the majority have been very nice people and a lot of them have called me homo, gay etc. And I have directly called one of them on a regular basis (a big fat raving homo) with no worries of ever offending.

I myself am a asthmatic, I even own a T-shirt say Asthmatics are sexy.(reference the heavy breathing) I have the ability to take the piss out of myself aswell as others because it is my opinion that counts not other people's. I really think you need to get pass this you will never change the way people think or play, yes calling some one a N is compleatly disprespectfull but it is not the same as a friend playing and calling someone a homo. I myself will not direct any jokes about being gay etc directly at you but I will not stop calling Tommy gay or any other of my friends because it upsets you I think this is something you need to work out for yourself. Noone has ever said you are not welcome in the clan because of your sexual orientation so dont ever think that and if you can work this out I am sure you will be a valid member of the group.

If this happens to you when you are chatting, ask the person to please not use those words because it offends you. Then you move on.

Tommy has asked me to not use the word small when describing his penis he prefers the word petite.

OK.... I just saw this, a lot to take in.

I feel the need to set the record straight ( no pun ) here. Last night no less than 7 times (probably more) you called me "bitch" in the sniper server, on vent, each time I killed you. This was around 11am PST, 2pm EST . Am I offended ? NO. Did I think you were hitting on me ? NO. Why .. ? I knew you were joking with me. It was meant to amuse not offend.

You are right, most of us don't know what it's like to be gay. You don't know what it's like to be straight, so what. No one ever told you we were perfect, much less always politically correct.

We are just people that come here to unwind from the stress of our daily lives. We take shots at each other all the time. Reading our forum should have shown you that. We are just being ourselves. Sorry we are not what you thought we were, but reading all you have written it sounds to me a lot more like you don't want us, than we don't want you.

I'm called a whore at least once a day each time I get in vent. It's just a joke. I don't get mad when people say sexist things about women, or when they pick on me 'cause I don't pipe up with a come back, I know it's all in fun so who gives a shit?
