Favorite Cooking Shows...

What are everybody's favorite cooking shows? I am a Food Network junkie myself.

I think "Good Eats" is a good show. The stuff Alton makes is usually on the more simple side but still of good quality. The show explains a lot of basics and is really good for beginners.

Now "Chef At Home" is pretty good too. The guy who hosts the show is a bit of a wuss, but he comes up with some pretty unique stuff. He does also teach the beginnings of cooking without a recipe.

"Emeril" is someone I don't care for. He may be a great chef but his show is just stupid. People worship him to the point where if he pours some olive oil into a pan people will start cheering. As such, he can pretty much make anything and he does, some stuff I wouldn't eat with Chicken's beak.

There are tons of cooking shows, who likes what?

I lately discovered http://www.cookshow.com where you can share recipes

But you can go and see http://www.chefbernard.com <<< Did any of you go to his site ?

I recommend to go to La Jolla and have a dinner there !!! You can die right after !

(or go and eat at the Marine's Room in La Jolla. CA close north of San Diego). He is a very good friend of mine. πŸ˜‰

You know... I'm a "black belt" in cooking Filet mignon sauce poivre" !...

Which means Beef in Pepper Sauce. But I really pushed the adjustment of the sauce in it's last details !!!

Many friends of mine ask for it regulary and I'm very proud of this ! πŸ˜€

But you can find in the upper ranking... my brand new girlfriend which is a pure "Cordon Bleu"... !

Everytime we've got people home, they told her she could open a high quality restaurant !... I think I got kind friends... πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Jokes apart, I never been eating such fantastic meals before she came into my life !!!

Really sad you're so far from home !!! πŸ™ πŸ˜† πŸ˜† πŸ˜† πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

Nigella Bites.

Hot brit cooking, getting INTO her craft. Better than Martha Stewart and hotter too. Lots of working with meat.
