That was INCREDIBLE. At first, I was like... eh, no biggie. Watching the whole thing though and I was floored. It actually moves like a living creature.

Leonardo would be proud. πŸ™‚

What is so amazing is the fact that it maintained it's center of gravity when the guy tried to push it over.

I don't think it really matter's what it's suppose to be as long as the tech work's properly.

I live in Canada and drunken stumble is the norm so i really didn't pick up on that right away.Thank's for pointing that out.

That was amazing. I think we are looking at prototype for the first robotic mailman. Neither Rain nor sleet nor dark of night ....

LOL with the comments so far.

I think the intent is to design a robo-mule that could follow troops over terrain wheeled vehicles couldn't go. The power plant is a bit noisy, sounds like a chainsaw motor. It did remind me of a swarm of flies though. Always a problem with real mules. πŸ™‚

Imagining the programming that went into that. Detect slip and put the legs in the right spot to counter it. Detect tip or push and react to it like a reflex. Pretty hard jobs when you think about them. Organic creatures have the reflexes and wetware built in. πŸ™‚
