Indy champ Dan Wheldon died today in a horrible crash.

That was pretty bad. He went airborne off another car and went cockpit first into the catchfence above the safety barrier. He had no chance.

What they need to do is keep the open wheeled Indy cars off of the NASCAR ovals. They are not built for that.
