Thanks for the review Classix - I was wondering about that one. I figured Zombie would sell-out eventually.

I saw "The Last House On The Left" a week or so ago. Um - very well acted. And I didn't hate it at all - but the rape scene (Extended version) was one of the most uncomfortable scenes I've ever watched on film. I always thought that the rape scene in Blue Velvet was pretty harsh but this one tops it. I kept having to tell myself "she's okay - just a movie". Fucking brutal I tell ya - both of those actors should be commended on a job very well done. As for the rest of the movie - I liked the original better and after the movie "Chaos", the whole two girls get lost in the woods thing seems a bit over done. Great acting though!

I am not into horror flix anymore, but the one that I always remember is the first Evil Dead. Something about it was extremely unsettling. Maybe how Raimi shot, and edited it? Dunno, I was really freaked out by it.

Of course, I was probably 12 when I saw it. That may be why.

For us upper 30 somethings, I remember Salem's Lot when it was on TV. It came on in 1979, which would make me about 8 years old. That freakin movie gave me nightmares for years. Especially this scene:

The vid quality is poor, but you get the picture.

I remember being terrified by both Salem's Lot and The Omen. The I saw "The Exorcist" and decided I liked to be scared.

And a MONSTER WAS BORN.

Too bad I reacted the same way to porn when I got into my teens. All I cared to do was get my pinkie stinky. πŸ˜€ :smileysex5:
