Just a heads up for Who fans. It was good, they did a good job of giving it the same feel of the old shows. And I like the guy they cast as the new Doctor. You can tell he probably was a fan of Tom Baker by the way he acts.
Two thumbs up for episode 1.

I didn't even know about it. I was channel surfing and came across it by accident about 45 minutes into it. So I watched the rest of it. Then luckily, they replayed the entire thing right after, so I got to see the beginning.

Actually, it is/was the 29th season of Doctor Who. It's not a remake series but rather just continueing the series.

Tommy beat me to this one yup its continued on in the series not just remaking the old story lines although of course there are old enemies thrown in but then it wouldnt be Dr Who without them look for the Daleks & Cybermen they are also bringing back the Master and talking of revamping K9 well he always talked about 'fixing him one day' .
