And where it all started...
Truly a great drummer! Tommy started that on the Theatre of Pain tour actually. Great Live show that band had.
I still think Too Fast For Love was one of the most impressive debut albums of all time.
Yup,Too Fast For Love was originally released on their own "Leather Records" label. They were a local band out here for many years before hitting the bigtime. I've seen them quite a few times when I was younger. Once, I saw them play an amusement park out here called Magic Mountain. Their Debut performance as a group was at a small club in Hollywood called the Starwood on Santa Monica Blvd and Crecent heights. It was a hangout for me and mine in our early twenties.

Mick Mars needs a little bit of that "magic" nowadays. Poor guy can hardly move.

He didn't move much in the old days either, just found out why
For most of his professional career, Mars has struggled with ankylosing spondylitis. It was initially diagnosed when he was 19 years old, and has increasingly impaired his movement and has caused him a great deal of pain. This led to hip-replacement surgery at the end of 2004.[5]
Over the years, the illness has caused his lower spine to seize up and freeze completely solid, "...causing scoliosis in my back and squashing me further down and forward until I was a full three inches shorter than I was in high school."

Yup, not very pleasant. From what I hear of their concerts nowadays, they have to slow down and wait or him to "catch up" playing.

Just watching that first video, I agree that Tommy is an amazing drummer. One thing that really bothers me though... Being in that skimpy outfit must really chaff his thighs and it has to be uncomfortable sitting on the leather seat while playing. 😛

Perhaps he could sit in your lap from now on?
