Yeah it aired Tuesday I think, wife DVR'ed it for me.

I wanted to see it, sorry I missed it. I'll see if they have the episode on-line. I figured with all the advances in CG it had to be better than the last version.

Watched it. It is okay. Won't spoil it, but they use terrorist as a plot device. The lead Visitor is a hottie.

The plot goes by really fast, but it is easy to keep up. It appears that they are going to use a lot of the 1983 plot line. The episode will be online starting this Saturday on Hulu.

Very remeniscent of the original series.

I imagine some of the less than perfect acting might be due to the actors all trying to feel their way into the characters. I remember feeling the same way about the first several episodes of ST-TNG but it straightened itself out and Patrick Stewart made a better starship captain than any of the others.

I never watched the original but I think it was a pretty mind blowing concept..I would watch it again, I just want to see what "they" really look like.. I'm intrigued now since I saw an eyeball move through that one guy's head wound..

LOL! No doubt. He'd have waded through at least 4 hot alien women to do it too.

Kirk was more rough-n-tumble and hedonistic but I had more respect for Jean Luc.

They were both good. I'd take either of them over Scott Bakula.
