I need some good suggestions on some entertainment. Please list and discuss your favorite movie. Why is it your favorite? For me, I will never forget seeing Saving Private Ryan in the theater. It was a very emotional experience and I have never again watched the film because I know that it would not be as powerful as when I first saw it.

With the eclectic crowd here, I expect that there will be a wide variety of movies to discuss.

I have seen Saving Private Ryan about 3 times.

Still has the power!

The beach landing to me hasn't been equaled in any D-Day movie yet as far as being anything near what it must have been like.

Another Great movie is "The Great Raid" - See it if you haven't!

A true account of an actual rescue of allied prisoners of war in a Japanese POW camp!

Very good!

Another is "To End All Wars" - another true account!

I'm personally a fan of a movie called The Fountain. Best I can put it, it shows how people must come to accept that death is part of life and gives way to new life.

I saw it, but was on a seriously massive amount of drugs at the time. What a trip.

Wait, now I remember, I didn't do any drugs, it was the movie!!!!

If you people want to know what it is like to do hard shit, watch the movie.

Seriously, I had a migraine when I was watching the movie so I laid down and drifted in and out of sleep. Every time I drifted back to consciousness I swear it was the same part of the movie. LOL, I won't say any more!
