It is a bit expensive so I won't be doing it soon, but I do want to do this at some point. I saw this on the Oprah Christmas special and it appears to be a fully legit thing. You buy the package which comes with a vial that you spit into and then mail back to them. Then a few weeks later the results of your DNA profile are available to your account online.
They can tell you if you are more likely or less likely to get any of about 90 different diseases, etc.
One thing I found interesting is: https://www.23andme.com/health/bittertaste/ since I absolutely love brussel sprouts.
Anyway, I am sure most of us will not do this, but even looking at it should prove to be interesting.
