90 years ago today WWI's greatest fighter pilot, Manfred von Richthofen (better known as The Red Baron) was shot down by an Australian infantryman. He had 80 confirmed kills, making him an ace 16 times over. He also had other kills that could not be confirmed because they were over enemy territory.
