I don't often take the pulpit, but I thought I would today considering what tomorrow is... Thanksgiving. 😀
This is a day every year that I spend in reflectance and contemplation of the many things there are to be thankfull for, and there are ALWAYS things we should be thankfull for. The problem is, here, in our media obsessed country, where every moment we are being bombarded with marketing imagery designed to make us feel that we are inadequate or our lives are incomplete if we don't have..... ( fill in the blank ). We often focus on what we lack rather than what we have.
Take a moment if you can, and take a mental inventory of what you have going for yourselves, if only for the day.
I am particularly thankfull for being asked to join this clan, it has been a source of much fun and stimulation, and through it, I have met the very best of people.

YoMa is right about taking time to be thankful. I few years ago I started a morning ritual whereas I spend the first few minutes of every day pondering all of that which I'm thankful for. It's hard to have a bad day when you start it off with an appreciation for all that is well and good. Ya know, there is a method for getting everything you want out of life. Just a few simple steps. Recognize what you desire and why. Believe that you deserve your desires. Visualize the desire being a reality. Be then sincerely thankful just as if you've already acquired the desire. And then the most important step...release it and let it go. The job of our thoughts is to actualize. We are co-creators in a way. What keeps people from changing their reality to a more approprate one is the inability to fully operate the "machine" based on these simple steps. Creation operates on a set of principals.
Well, I hope you guys gain as much weight as I intend to today!

Happy Thanksgiving all! I'm thankful that the in-laws didn't come. It's not that I don't like them, I do. But the fact that the wife don't like them kinda makes family gatherings stressful. 😈 😈 😈
