Matter of fact, Draco has working on a bolt action rifle for DOU per my request. 😀

It's getting there. I had to put it on hold for now because I'm working out the bugs on a new version of the proassassinrifle (called the Demon-Fire Rifle) we use on the sniper server. I think it's finally finished. Just gotta do 1 final test and get the big man's thumbs up. Then, I'll continue on the big boy, single-shot-kill .50 cal. Have a good one.

I believe I requested something similar in a PM a while ago but got no responce.

I don't actually remember your PM but I did find it in my mailbox. This little item will probably replace the rifle I have on the lowgrav sniper. Should it be crouch-to-fire or zark style rifle? Do you want big muzzle-flash, flying shells, huge boom, with lots of recoil, and a one shot a second fire rate? Give some input here. I already have the base rifle and it works now I just need to fine tune it. Have a good one.

I prefer crouch to fire. Keeps the run n gunners away. Muzzle flash would be cool, maybe hear the shell drop, big recoil would be sweet.

I used to play on WKA bolt action server and it was a nice kind of sniping but they closed their server one day... 🙁

Is it just me or does it look the same as the sniper one? I tried it out on practice game.

It does. I'm looking for another type of rifle to use or I may end up re-skinning this one. What did you think of it's functions?

Sound was good (Fireing). Need a bolt action sound to go along with the ejecting shell. To bad you couldn't get an arm to come up and eject it 😀 If you could get the ejection sound, should make it so you cant fire another round until all action is done. A little bit of Muzzle flash would be sweet as well. Seemed kinda wierd when you would shoot not looking the the scope and it would have a delayed kick (recoil).

I'm not sure how to switch to that rifle. I've put the files in the system folder and see the config window in the game but how do you select that rifle?

Open start 'practice session'. Select your gametype, and click the 'mutators' button. Scroll through the options and select DOUcal50Rifle and DOU add this with 50cal. Close that window and hit start. Have a ball.

Couldn't get the "DOU add this with 50cal" to run. But after slowing down the scope and changing the crosshairs the other .50 was alot of fun.

Any B.A.R. mods out there?

I'm about to go on a hunt for one. If I can get the models and skins for an authentic bolt-action that would be sweet. There is bound to be one out there.
