Best snipper

I have come across many frag masters, one that stands out as near as dam it invincible was SIN who I believe was banned from the server (correct me if i'm wrong).

The best sniper in my very humble opinion is NATAN my mentor and the only one ive yet to catch breaking the rules lol god bless

With all due respect for many good players and my friends from the clan and from outside, my favorite is timmo.

He taught me camping and showed me the best of all servers - DOU server. He always follows the rules, willingly offers help and is usually very calm.

I would go with splattermaster as the best snipper, as for the best sniper, I would have to say........splattermaster

My top 5 of all time is still the same as it was when i posted on those forums. Based on my experience since 2006 and in no particular order, they are:

Aderkill - at his best he was near untouchable at camping. Never the best freestyler but damn that lad could rip a camping side apart single handedly. Great aim, good movement but, most importantly, very smart with his play. He still holds the most impressive 30-0 perfect DM game that I have ever seen on any server because he did it against a server full of the some of the best euro players around at the time; there were no easy kills and he godliked and scored a true perfect game.

Mastic - fast and accurate from long range, near impossible to kill close up. He is rarely beaten when put into a camping match regardless of pings. i've seen him beat down some of the best US players on US servers without really trying. very nice guy too

Ace - the ESG contingent in the ENG team were all immense but Al always seemed to have another level whenever it was needed. When DoC played ESG in 2008 he just ripped us to shreds, we had no answer to his movement and accuracy

Lunatic - just the most immense consistency at the highest standard. Positioning, accuracy, speed and, when needed, movement means that he'll kill you before you even know he is anywhere near you. And when you work it out, its still no easier to kill him. Top scored for the ENG team in the World Cup with not 1 single negative score in the entire competition! And he did this whilst also scoring the highest efficiency and highest average score per map - by the end of the group stage (he played 16 maps in 5 matches) he had already got a score (frags - deaths) of +134 !! (I still have the team stats to prove this - posted on EST forum).

ReMix - I have seen him destroy teams singlehandedly regardless of whether it is a US or Euro server. In the USA v Germany World Cup Quarterfinal, Germany won the decider map 41-40 - Take out ReMix's score (18-2) and it would have been 39-22. This was on a Euro server against a side that included 5 of DoC's top players. In the WS v DoC match on the US server his overall score was 101-34 (average score per map of 20-7). In the return match no the DoC server he never played but the DoC victory would never have been so massive had he been there. One of the last true greats.

Close runners up:

Banzai - at his best no-one accumulated frags like him. He was the top player in the World Cup with a final score of +159!!

DeMeo and Silver - never got to see either of them at their very best, but I couldn't touch them regardless even when they were at half paced and neither could virtually everyone else in the community. simply legendary players

Wishkah - often overlooked but I don't know why; consistant, great teamwork, smart player and impressively quick.

Other notable players:

Striker (again, often overlooked because of the bigger names in DoC but extremely strong player)

Thor (strong player on US or Euro, quick and agressive)

SuperSniper (One of the few other players from across the pond that have truly impressed me time after time. There is a reason he either wins or comes close to winning the FN individual player stats season after season)

Invisible.UK (such a bitch to kill, the ultimate hardcore camper. patiently waits for you to make a mistake and then punishes you before you even realise you made it)

Oggre (rarely gets a mention but I can never hit the fecker, solid old school player!)

XT (great accuracy and anticipation in a fight)

Xtreme (again, overlooked because he doesn't tend to get high scores in matches but I have not seen many players be able to control a map like him with a 300+ ping due to his shitty connection!)

Hawky (played with and against him when he was JAG, NBK, RSA and DoC and he has always impressed me with his speed and accuracy of shot).

Sadly, it is a rare sight to see any of these guys on a server anymore 🙁
