Can you believe this?

This bugs me because a woman spent the night in jail all because a useless Hill-Billy Cop wanted the night off and the chances at a million dollar lawsuit. If Union City, Georgia wasn't such a frickin podunk town, they'd have email addresses I could harass them at. I guess I'm just not a fan of most police officers since 90% of the officers I have met tend to abuse their authority like this one did from time to time. Have a good one.

There was a time when I believed most officers were decent people. I'm not so sure any more. Just too much corruption and it seems to be everywhere.

hey, most cops are decent. i have relatives in law enforcement and i know what bullshit they go through. I am not saying this cop in question is good or bad. he just might be a rookie with a bug up his ass along with his head. Not all cops are bad, i have ran into my share of asshole, powerhunger, short person, tallman complex midgets with badges. so dont let shit like this piss you off. Its gonna happen all the time.

The worker allegedly reported the oversalting to her manager and a co-worker. The manager and co-worker conspired to knock off the excess salt and recover the wasted meat. The fault lies with them for using the tainted product even though they knew it was bad. I suppose the motive there was to save the cost of the waste, since the manager is responsible for cost/waste and making his/her profit numbers. This is not a criminal case, this is a civil case and the judge should have tossed it.

The cop should be suing McDonald's corp. The worker should be suing McD's for not protecting her against false arrest since they are responsible as the operating entity. She has a nice case of false arrest against the city too. It should be a nice case to watch.

That's why I think the cop is making a huge deal out of it. Too damn lazy to work for a living and he saw his chance. Afterall, some dumb-ass broad scores 4 million for accidently dumping coffee on herself and then suing and winning because McDonald's didn't tell her it was hot. I could see how this guy got $$ in his eyes. It's Easy-Money as far as he is concerned.
