I've decided not to play UT99 on the DOU server any more, because it just isn't that enjoyable for me now. There are various reasons for that, but the main ones are that
- there are too many players who ignore the server rules; and
- the rules aren't (in my opinion) enforced enough.
Unfortunately, the rule breakers include some of the long-term players, and even a few of the DOU members. I'm not going to bother naming them, because I'm well aware that they're untouchable, and nobody dares to criticise them.
I know there are good DOU members and guests, too, and I wish those people all the best, and I hope you continue to enjoy playing on the server, but I just can't do it any more.
