I don't know if anyone cares to put themselves in the middle of the hell that IS Bike Week here in Daytona, but I'll be running lights for the Edgar Winter shows on March 7th and 8th at the Broken Spoke Saloon in Ormand Beach. I wont be able to hang out much because I'll be tied to the board but it should be a fun show and good music if anyone wants to drop in.
Actually we have 2 members who live in Florida and ride bikes.

Saw him years ago in Phila. Saw Edgar in Pocono PA a ( in a real small place)last year, if you get a chance it is a great show.
Was suprised to find that he is almost blind now.
Too busy at work to go to this bike week ,but I will be there for biketoberfest . Love the Broken spoke its better than Iron Horse I think.

Looks like nobody was able to make it. Night one of Edgar went like first nights usually go lol. Five minutes before Edgar was due to show I had a lighting hickup. Every light on all 24 channels came on by themselves and stayed on. Still don't know what happened but a hand went under the stage and beat on the dimmer packs and the thing let go and the console worked perfectly the rest of the night. We'll see how it goes tonight. Edgar and his band were very good and Edgar pulled off a fantastic sax solo that really blew me away. Of course the crowd went ape when they performed Frankenstein. During Frank, Edgar went off on a keyboard tangent that seemed to last for 10 minutes. That sorta threw me because I had no idea when it was going to go back into the main song again. ALl in all though not a bad first night.
I was bummed that I didn't see any clan friends there but I realized that the chances of anyone making it there on such short notice was a shot in the dark. Edgar will do 10 shows in Fl. next year and Dave Lopez, his tour manager asked me if I was interested in directing all 10. So, there will be another opportunity and I'd love to see some of you there next year. There's still Jimmy Van Zandt tonight and tomorrow if anyone can make it. Ya can't miss me.
