Don't drink them or you'll wake up on the curb in a strange town naked with track marks and a sore ass. 😆

So then what is a good Frenchie wine at a moderate price?
Tommy
Also, do you like Cheese too? If so we may be long lost brothers 🙂

About 8 euros (10$ US) gives you a very good wine !... and no headache ! 😉
Finally... something we share besides scifi and UT.
The last couple of years I have really gotten into wine. I collect it, and I only drink reds. I never developed a taste for whites either. There is a lot of great reds comming out of Argentina and Chile that are very reasonably priced. Most french wine is very overpriced unless you are buying second label.
I am curious Tommy, I have never had anything out of New York, can you give me a couple of names that produce there...?

Right, but give me a name so I can look for one. Many stores here do sell Frenchie wines. 🙂

Go to:
They list New York wines that have been given awards as well as general information on NY vineyards. There are a lot of other good sites too, but that's as good a place to start as any I guess. You didn't say what wine you like the most so a r ecommendation would be hard to make.

Thanks for the link Tommy, I will check it out.
I'm really a cabernet man at heart allthough I am starting to get into pinot noir/burgundy.
One of my favorite new disscoveries is "Casa Lapostolle" a Chilian wine that is a french/Chilean venture run by the Marnier-Lapostolle ( grand marnier ring a bell) family.
The label starts in the 10$ range to their flagship cab the Clos Apalta, which has drawn 94 point ratings from the Wine Advocate, that is in the 70$ range. All of their wines that I have had (3)were great values and I reccommend them.

My parents have been into wine for years, so naturally I've always grown up drinking the stuff. (not like daily but it's not uncommon) Actually they had a rather good italian wine the other day. It was a pinot noir, but I forget the name...
Here's a realtively unknown local Vineyard
I like their Eye Of The Storm wine...it's cheap, but tastes abit more expensive 😉 It's quite popular around here.
