I had a couple of folks asked me about being in Vent today. A lot of you know my issue, and a lot do not.
Something is wrong with my headset. If I am not touching my computer with my skin, I can not be heard very well on Vent. It is almost like a short. My PC is at ground level, so when I am on Vent, I HAVE to be wearing shorts or my birthday suit, and my leg has to be in constant contact with my PC.
Today, I was wearing blue jeans, so no talking in Vent.
Sorry for the inconvenience. I still have not been electrocuted, so that is a good thing 😆

When it comes to headsets, I am not cheap. These are the ones that I currently own.

My PC has no other sound output, as I do not want speakers to clutter up the room. I would consider getting a new set of these, but right now, I can not afford it.
get an anti-static wrist band atach it to you computer lol and to you,, or use a wire, sounds like a grounding issue with your computer..
