Get Well Barkley!!!!!

Well, I am glad Barkley at least had a good birthday before getting sick.

He has been vomitting all last night and this morning. He looks all messed up too. So I ran him over to the vet this morning and he thought Barkley looked bad enough that he wanted to keep him there. They plan to do a blood workup too and check his diabetes while he is there, although it is probably not the reason why he is sick. Unless something really bad develops, I do plan to bring him back home today.

So think good thoughts people!!!!

Sorry to hear that tommy,MAN you really aren't having much luck lately are you? , well it can only get better for you i hope. hang in there Barkley......

Well, I have some bad news to report.

The vet says that Barkley doesn't appear to be responding to the insulin anymore. He is there again today and they are trying to see what they can do. In a little over an hour I will be talking with the vet abut this.

Unless something happen that I believe is unexpected, I will be bringing him home tonight and then tomorrow I will have to take him in to be put down (so he doesn't suffer, uncontrollable diabetes is very harsh).

Very sorry to hear that. My own pooch is having alot of health trouble too so I feel for you.

I am so sorry to hear this. My Grandmother's Schnauzer had diabetes as well.

Do not give up hope.
