Question about a most annoying problem that I know some more of you have experienced.
While translocating, my gun keeps popping out now and than. Is it just my gameplay or are there any solutions to this problem.
:trans: :snipe:
Nah - we all have to deal with it.
Sounds to me like you are a little over excited when you play UT if your gun keeps popping out π
Sorry, dude, that's the way the engine works and there is nothing to change it.
God knows I've tried to correct it to no avail.

Just slow down your xlocking.

Better to rise for a stairs or ladder
I remember I've been trying to set a key bind to xloc and the gun was always popping up without any sense... sad glitch in the UT engine I suppose... π
That's not a glitch in the engine. If you press both mouse buttons at the same time, say, while translocating, it will switch you to "best weapon".
And, since you only have the translocator and the sniper rifle, it switches you to the rifle.
Make a conscious effort to avoid pressing both, and it will stop happening.
I avoid it by the timming I use while transing. I've got it down pretty good now, rarely happens.

Then is it possible to make the x-loc the best weapon? Logically this would stop the switch.

That's what I was thinking about but the thing is : HOW ?

It could be done but you would spawn in with the trans instead of the rifle
and that's even more annoying than the occasional crater. After working on
key-binds and even the coding of the trans, the best way I've found to get
around this problem is to just practice. Try exaggerating your clicks by
smacking the buttons loud enough to hear each distinct click. After awhile,
your body will make itself more efficient and it'll be like second nature.
Ohhh and, if your are playing with a high dollar mouse, get a cheapo piece
of shit to hit the x-loc practice with until you master it so that you don't
end up trashing a high-dollar mouse. Have a good one.

Is there an instruction to know both sides of the mouse are pressed ?

I don't think I understand what you are asking. Please rephrase the question if possible, Moon.
