A few days ago two of my friends were playing around with their 9mm pistols. Micheal and Patrick, Micheal thought he had unloaded the firearm, but a bullet was left in the chamber, Micheal shot Patrick in the chest and he died 10min later at the local hospital, he lived long enough to tell the police it was an accident. Patrick was 30yrs old. We all love guns, but PLEASE ,never think that any firearm is safe, use with respect, and double check the chambers. With sadness I write this post. KM π
Damn Man
That really sucks.
Sorry KM
Sorry to hear that, Knightmare.
Always treat a weapon like it's loaded. Period.
It is very sad, Knightmare.
When I was about 10 years old, my father made for me a gun. It was something like legendary Winchester M 1892, but made from a wood. Me and my friends loved to play being soldiers, stalking with a weapon and so forth.
When a gun was ready, I took it in my hands and accidentally aimed it to my father. He snatched it and said:
"Remember, each weapon once a year might accidentally fire. So never aim to someone if you aren't going to kill him".
It was only a toy made from wood, but those words I remember to this day.
My father fought in World War II and saw the death of his mate, who died, when the other mate cleaning weapon accidentally turned it in him. He forgot, that in a chamber remained a bullet. The gun fired.
