Everytime I try to connect with server it asks me to install ACE (anti cheating engine). But when I try to install it. The game freezes to the point where I have to restart my computer. Any suggestions?? I'm running windows 8

Apart from that it seems that Windows 8 gives a lot of people a headache these days and this seems to be just one of them.
Is anyone of the clan using Windows 8 and running UT99 on it?
I kinda figured it might have something to do windows 8. I might just try it on my laptop and see what happens. Thanks Natan

im running windows 8 as well, but i had no issues it just worked. which file are you having trouble with ? maybe you could install by importing into the folder instead of downloading through the server, if its ACE there is bound to be a file out there somewhere you can just download and drop into a folder in your UT directory, i might be wrong but i dont see why it wouldnt work.
I tried downloading the file and placing it in the directory. But still when I go to connect with the server it freezes instantly
Ok I got it figured out. The game wasn't installed under programs so I moved the directory. And manually downloaded ACE and imported it to the UT folder. Thanks for the input fellas
