Dim,

He looks awesome and you look happy. You should be, having your son will be a journey unmatched in your lifetime. As you teach them you realize things. Things about your life growing up, things about yourself as a person. I have a 4 year old boy and have a long way to go, but you my friend have just begun.

Welcome to the club πŸ˜€

P.S this will sound familiar real soon... " Sleep ? what's sleep....?"

I've been without a puter for the past couple of weeks and just now saw this post. CONGRATS!! Kids are the best things we humans do and so far being a father has been the best experience of my entire life. I'm envious...yours is shiny new:) Mine just turned 19 lol. I was Mr. Mom from day one and in-home schooled Jordan all the way through high-school. Most ppl have a hard time picturing this rough and tumble ex-Marine a Mr. Mom lol...but, I loved it and was good at it. Man, what a great time in life this is for you Dim! If ya ever need a sitter I'm available:)!!!

Believe me I'd have a houseful if I could. Both of Karen's parents are twins and that gave us a high chance of having twins. Karen wasn't ever much interested in being a parent to tell you the truth. She was willing to risk it for me once but it wont happen again. That's the real reason I was a Mr. Mom. I made a deal with Karen that if she would have a kid she'd never have to change a single diaper, feed him, or get up in the middle of the night, etc, etc. And that's how it worked out too lol. Karen's a great gal and we've been married for 20 years. She's just not into kids. My dream is to open a boy's ranch where lil dudes that don't get enough attention can come visit. No Michael Jackson jokes please LOL!

Don't know if you've considered this but is there a Big Brothers type organization near you? I've been a Big for over 7 years now and I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Got matched with Willie just before his 8th birthday. Done all kinds of fishing, camping, movies and all kinds of other stuff over the years.
