Last night had a massive thunderstorm and lightning must have hit some phones line local to me, my old router will no longer connect to the net, i do have another one but its a complicated piece of shit that doest seem to work with TS3 or UT2004 or COD so im now arguing with my service provider, could take a while....
Ok , after further arguing and a lengthy phone call with BT (my service provider) i have come up with the issue why their new homehub3 (the new product they are forcing on there customers) will not work properly, is that there is a major firmware issue and the router will not allow correct port forwarding, and will drop connection on connected devices or programs outwith BT's list of approved programs, This is a NEW product which is supposed to be faster and easier to use than all previous routers from BT yet there approved programs list is laughable, most of the programs on it went out with windows ME, oh well off to the store to buy another router.
NUKER Here,
Look at Mr. head on the golf course (he is after all Scottish) I see a pattern with him & lightning!
