In case anyone hasn't heard yet, my PC took a shit Friday Night/Sat. Morning,1st my HD siezed up, so I replaced it (which totally sucks cause I had some stuff on there I need,just wish I could it all back)LOL, 2nd found out that my power supply had also died, 3rd to top it off I fried 1gig of my memory.
So after getting everything back up & running it seems that there's still something not right.So I decided to build another whole system, haven't got it all put together yet still trying to get everything in order,but here's basically what I have:::::

WOW I'd say sorry to hear about your PC but how can ya be really sad about gettting that! Sorry bout the loss of your data though, I bet you'll soon forget about it with that new PC.
My "fried" hard drive was sent to a local guy who was able to get the files i needed off of it for $50. Saved me from a nightmare. So just cause it is dead there are people who can still get you files for you. ckeck around.

MAN there is a FREE recovery utility on DOWNLOAD dot com that you can use to recover just about anything even lost files on USB KEYS!!!
anywho... last few FRIED hard drives that I've seen KAPUT were MAXTOR's... I got rid of my 6gig in a quick hurry before anything got lost...

My last one that took a dump was a Western Digital after about 3 months. You wouldn't believe the amount of porn I lost! 😆

I'm dropping my family photos on a USB key for safe keeping...
Backing up stuff(old proggys, games, utilities) and my updated drivers on DVD's... I'll really never loose anything...
