Too bad GM spent all their money on hookers, vacations and limos, maybe they could contend in a competitive world market if they paid more attention to the trends. All of the imports I test drove where much higher quality than anything GM had in the same class. It's a crying shame! πŸ˜₯

It's true in certain catagories GM doesn't have a competitive answer, for instance the compact car catagory. The interiors especially are very utilitarian. The quality has come up but that's only when comparing GM to itself. They are way behind the asian manufacturers in technological advances.

The new Camero's are bitchen though 😈

Yeah - they are bitchin Mama. The local dealer here had two on display and were giving test drives last week. Sooper Dooper - but only if you've got 50 g's to drop. DAMN!

Got my Civic for 5 g's off invoice and have already put 110 miles on it - used a half tank of gas. That far out weighs the consequences of a daily drive. But I wont lie, if I had a 100 G + income I would probably get a Camaro. I'm sure that most of the big-wigs at GM have at least one.

Yup, I would bet they do. Not the most practical ride in times like we have now πŸ˜† , but still nice to think about.

Beautiful. Nice work.

I have a '77 Vette, but still need to do much of what you did. New electric window lift-kit, new seatbelts, new u-joints are all in need of replacement.

She's a beauty SOC but are you sure that's not a 78?

I thought they didn't start using that rear end until 78.

No actually the fast back (C3) started in '78 - the one that SOC has was the C2.

BEAUTIFUL!

Yup Yup...this was the last year before the fastback. The Stingray "fins" are gone from behind the front wheel wells, leaving only the slit, but the back window still has the fins and flat window (C2).

Thanks for the compliment Yo_MaMa. =) How goes the guitar shredding?

I'm a working robot these days, I don't get to do much else.

Thanks for asking though, I miss playing but there are only so many hours in a day.

Looks nice Grubb.

Does the snow cause any damage to the exterior?
