Being a Rush fan, I've occaisionally checked into Alex Lifeson's 2003 New Year's Eve run-in with them and the resulting legalities and suing/countersuing and such. Now I'm reading about some of the other actions this group of "Law Enforcment Officers" have been involved with.
Shit, I thought Milwaukee had a shady department. Murder, Child porn (same deputy caught twice no less!), DUI, even suicide......no, I don't think I'll visit.

OK so they pull you over if you don't yell at them and you get ticked for not using your turning signal???

I dunno about Naples specifically, but I've been pulled over for speeding and other driving infractions several times in several different states (including Florida) and was always extremely polite to the officer regardless of how he was treating me and I've always gotten off with a warning. Never had a ticket. One time was at 2am on a Friday night in Charlotte, NC. Got clocked doing 58 in a 35 and he let me go. So from my personal experience, if you give them the power trip they're looking for, then they cut you a break. If you give them any shit at all, they may well fuck you over. Just my personal experiences. You have good and bad apples in every city in every state.
