New rifle

Did you clean your cache so that the rifle is out of the cache folder? If not I bet that is the problem.

1. If you have the int file and you connect to the Dou server the rifle file can still be in the cache folder. The options will work. Zoom your scope on, then look for the rifle option under the mod tab. then configure while the scope crosshair is up to see changes made. With the int file in the system folder and the rifle file in the cache you can use the options any time your connected to the server.

2. If you want to use rifle and options in a practice match the HFC.u rifle file must be extracted from the cache folder and put into the system folder. Then the options and rifle will work with the int file also in the system folder. Start practice match. Open the mutator selection. Choose DouSniperRifle. Start game. To change options follow directions above from mod tab on...

I made a new rifle with all the same as b4 features....Plus added some new and old (from testing days) stuff to it. I was worried about server load and performance...lag etc...so I made a downgrade version of it that is on the servers now (??? I haven't been on server for a couple days??). Any way I added back in some of the stuff...(you would not believe the number of options the rifle had durring testing).

I added the original ammo box back on

I added the range indicator back on.

New - brought the zoom speed 2x what it was set at before as default (now 3.0). You can also change the zoom speed yourself in the options 🙂 (that means you need the new int file to change options). Some of the 'other clan rifles' Moon likes.........zoom speed is set around 4.0 .

Zoom speed options: .5, 1.0, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8.....up to 5.2

The new DouSniperRifle file is HFCv1.u and HFCv1.int .

Is now in testing (I think) so...................................wait and see.............I can't wait to find out more myself.....Still testin T? Hope you got the files I sent ya T.........

Yes your new 1 is in and looks good (I also deleted your old one....it was in the 'now at this time' server version rifle - Did u notice the old one??)...you also sent me a small Xhair. One that was not 256 pixel size format for crosshairs....was it an all gun no zoom version? I can't remember what size it was....I think if I remember right, 64 pixel is the size format to use for all gun no zoom view.

The second was a 128 version supposed to be a smaller Xhair (like in Alienclan : they got a fantastic new one, go and have a look) but I think I'd better do a smaller one in a 256 square ?... your advice ?...

Send me the new stuff for a trial and I'll see if my last one needs to be re done... 😛

hmmm Quicker zoom Yup will make the new gun even better the only thing i had a small problem with was the zoom was a little slow but i liked it too much to complain about a little thing like that.

Yeah !!!!!!! I already tested it and we can get a very fast zoom !!!! Camp did a great job with that. And we can choose the crosshair we prefer !!! Another step to comfort in game !

So, you need a fast zoom too Dark. I will post about that !!!

I am now bouncin around some ideas about redoin the sounds...I'm gonna leave the weapon fire sound as is. Change in the 'hit enemy target feedback' and 'hit by enemy feedback' sounds.

Any kool and even fun ideas throw em out soon.....
