How the hell do you know there was no proof? Were you spectating the problem player? Of course not! So you don't know and you're just running at the mouth which is something you regularly do on our server.

You flaunt the rules on our server and when you're caught you try to duck the responsibility. "I can break the rules because someone else did" don't cut it with me.

I bust you again and you'll be done here permanently.

Reading differents forums (and this topic also) I believe is very clear that the game have the command. So, is a legitimate mod, and, on the other hand, some people had considered that this command gives some advantages to the players, that may be considered like a cheat.

Probably Jasmin, me and others who were ignorant of all this, now we know enough.

Everything else is unnecessary... because the discussions will be eternal...

Personally I think that behind all this are the well known enemies of our clan (not the clan ZSZ) but HH, Mimetic, and the SS guys who likes to create these situations to make some sense of their sad life of useless.

Perhaps we could have a more serious discussion of this and more technical, so we can resolve some doubts. For example about two years ago I played in the ZSZ server many times. I do not remember having a problem but I can not know if I was registered as a cheater.

Or, on the other hand, can I voluntarily disable that command of my game console? and so on.

Actually we try to enforce the rules, but people like scay think it's a no rules server and then complain when we enforce them.

If I was as paranoid as dash likes to think I would have recorded it, but since I'm not and I never have recorded a ventrilo conversation, kinda hard then isn't it? It was over a year ago, I can't even remember which guys were in there, just a crowd that came in one night. I hated to even bring it up, but if that post on your forum keeps getting brought up then I feel I may as well mention it since it does the same thing from what they said. Just because nothing catches it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The week ACE came out the guys with the custom aimbot came on, racked up a few 5 minute 30-0 games on a crowded night and then laughed and said ACE was as much a joke as pure and all anticheats.

ED went so far as to ignore an explanation and accuse our members of cheating in a public forum as well. Hurts does it? Just as until you used pure you didn't know about noshadow, until someone figures out how to check the video driver guess we won't know. And as I said I don't even care. Lucky for the other clans that used noshadow before they were warned by that post. The way I heard about it was a guy from another clan saying "here let me show you around the dark spots on this map" Another well respected clan, since dash is so concerned about respect. It wasn't a secret from anyone that could read and was reading pages that told how to set up UT commands.

Precisely. I do feel that screenshot is a little deceptive, I can make it way brighter than that first pic turning F11 and my monitor up, but some reason the screenshots are always way darker. Then again from what I hear people with laptops often have trouble with F11 and it shows way darker.

Really when did you get our spectating password? Otherwise you couldn't have known what was going on there. And are you there all the time to know when a person has been warned multiple times before for the same things? Seems like not. When we kick the guys that are winning by 25 in the first couple minutes and we are spectating them, yeah we have a reason.

My apologies Ladies and Gents...overnight we had several posts made by Nazis who've had it in for DOU ever since they tried to spread their hate and were shown the door. Their posts were deleted and their accounts locked.

DOU has a zero tolerance for their kind.

so just to get this straight in my mind, some commands that can be just typed in will/can be considered as "cheats" since they give an overly unfair advantage. PURE obviously checks for this but does ACE?

I would suggest you do. I know some on Unreal Admins consider this as providing an unfair advantage for camping and most servers will look down/kick you for using this command. Having seen the screenshots of how it affects your ability to spot people in maps I myself banned its use in my tournament and would have kicked anyone caught using it. DOU may allow it on your server (and then play dark maps in dark skins so you can see everyone but no-one can see you) but many other servers may kick and post it as a cheat (as ZSZ do). this risks putting a tarnish against your name and giving you a bad name. its up to you though

Yes the no shadow was tried in DOU it was brought here by a now ex member and found to be a pointless venture as has been pointed out that some servers dont like it being used...
