Those are some handsome dogs. You can see that the boxer knows his shit don't stink. lol. The markings on your new boy are excellent. Have a good day.

Danes don't live a super long time
Boxers have short life slans as well. They are prone to tumors and cancer 🙁
Some have been known to live up to 15 years. I had a black lab that lived to 14 even though they typically only live to about 12. So you never know.
True, there are always exceptions.

He may think that but we know better 😉
Thanks for the compliments, hopefully the Dane can stay. He gets a little aggressive when playing w/Beau (you cant tell from the picture but when standing DaVinci, the Dane is like twice the size of Beau). He likes to go for the throat a lot. Beau hasn't squealed yet and he keeps going back for more so he must not be clamping down too hard. We'll see how it plays out here in the next few days.
Found out retard #2 (the Dane) is 2 years and 2 months. Oops, we were only told a little over a year Oh well 😛
Sad day in the Bi§oN home 2day 😥 DaVinci (the Dane) is no longer with us. He passed while the Lady & I were @ work. He was acting rather ill last night with like dry heaves & throwing up a little. No food, only foamy white garbage. He had a vet appointment this afternoon but when I got home he was already gone 😥
He was only here for a around a month but he will be missed greatly 😥
Rest in peace buddy......

Sorry to hear about that. Sounds like bloat. One of the more common illness with a Dane. They will die in hours without immediate attention from a vet once you notice those symptoms.

Thats what we thought too but a receptionist for a vet clinic (after hours) said they didn't think that was it because he didnt have all the symtoms. He was better this morning. It is usually only a matter of a few hours if that is the case (from what we heard). The other vet in the area didn't seem as concerned either, just wanted him to come in to be checked. Sucks either way, try to do something nice and do the right thing and shit just goes wrong 😥
Sorry to hear about your loss. Hopefully your boxer is taking the loss of his playmate and buddy well. Take care.

Sorry to hear that. I truly feel your loss.
One of my boxers, Thunder had to be put down last sunday his kidneys had failed, there was no hope and it was a very hard thing to do.
We have since gotten a 4.5 month old boxer pup we have named Tornado.
It has helped mend our hearts a little and is keeping our other boxer, Lightning busy.
I am switching vets though, i am not happy with how this was treated by our regular vet. Then to add insult to injury after he was put down i get a bill for missing an appointment. I should have taken his ashes in to see the vet i guess. They will never see the money.

To me that has got to be the worst thing in the world to do is put down one of your pets. We put down our 14 year old Lab/Sheapard mix about 2 years ago this coming ThanksGiving. You feel so helpless as you watch them get the shot hand have them die in your arms. I dread the day we have to do it again 😥
Good luck w/that new pup. Post some pix when you get a chance ❗

You DID do something nice, and the right thing Bison, but we only have control over what WE do, nobody else.
Sorry for your loss, sounds like he'll be missed.
