I am really looking for something that has/is:

Wah Wah Bar

3 Humbucklers

Med/Low Action (the lower the better)

Lightweight

Frets/Neck that my fingers can slip over nice and quick for shred'n

Under the $2000 price range

Sounds good in many music genres such as Metal and Blues

My two main stage guitars are:

Epiphone '56 Gold Top Re-issue with P-90 pickups

/

B.C. Rich semi-hollowbody "Dagger" guitar

The Dagger gets me that "oooooooo" hollowbody sound and the Les Paul gets me that "this f*cking guitar weighs 200 lbs. and will hold a note for all infinity" sound. =}

I have decided, 1990's Ibanez RG1527 Prestige

After playing my friends yesterday i relized it is right for me.

Now i just have to wait one week for him buff out a few, little scratches the previous owner made.

The scratches show that it was played and not shelved! I wear them like a badge. 🙂

A Paul is a nice guitar but definitely a big chunk of wood. If you wear it for an hour or so it will start to wear on you. Has a great sound though. I have a 1977 that I'm the original owner of.

The Ibanez looks like a nice guitar, does it have a coil splitter switch? Comes in handy when you want to get that strat sound, I reccomend it. Does it have active pick-ups? I hate how they drain batteries but you get serious crunch from them.

Very nice,...the original owner! You must be quite a seasoned player. You are right about the weight of the Les Paul, I try to set up the set lists so that I can play the Les Paul for a few songs, followed by a strat, followed by my hollowbody. (which, by the way is also a heavy mother) 🙂

On the B.C.Rich I am not aware of the coil-splitter; it has two humbuckers and a standard three-way toggle. A coil splitter in my understanding converts a humbucker to a single-coil in functionality...am I close?

Yes, exactly S.O.C..

Never really liked the way it sounds in a Paul but on Strat style bodies it's pretty cool. It's even better combined with a phase switch. You split out a coil from the treble position humbucker, reverse the phase, and all of a sudden you sound like Stevie Ray 😆

Yes but it sounds cool on lots of different guitars, I've heard it on a few BCR's too 😉
