Practice Mode

Ok I have been dying to figure this out. A few members have mentioned going into practice mode to learn all about hte maps and stuff, but I don't really know how. I clicked the start a practice session button. However, all the maps were the generic UT maps. Can I practice on the maps we use for this clan or not? If so, how?

The practice server is currently being used for Uzi. Eventualy we will all be able to change it to practice mode but not yet. Right now it is only being used for Uzi. If you let us know when you want to practice we can prob. get it turned over for you.

First of all you have to use UTcache3.zip to put all our maps in your map s folder. Here it is : http://www.clanvikings.org/download/demos/Ez/div/

Then, you run it, and and after that you can run UT, select practice game and chose the maps we play as you want.

When you're into a map, select the console (tab key) and type "ghost" to explore as you want. To test for real, type "walk" and your back to normal play.

That's it... otherwise, use UTed πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

What I said is step by step !!! LOL (I think it's been my turn to talk too fast !)

1 - Download UTcache3.zip

2 - Run it (it will do the job for you)

3 - run UT and practice !...

A lot of people have trouble with cache 3. If it don't work I have Cache Manager I can send you.

If you use cache manager it works like this

1 Install it ( pretty easy to do )

2 Open it up ( ok you know how to do this )

3 Highlight the list (usually pick everything there but you can pick and choose )

4 Click on add ( it adds them to the correct ut folders )

5 Close down cache manager (all done )

Hmmm one more thing you may need to set the directory just type in

C:UnrealTournamentCache

if c is the drive you installed ut to .

If it all don't work you can go into the ini file and get each and every name and rename each file accordingly and worry about which folder it goes to...

Asprin anyone???
