He did not seem happy his entire life. Wow, that means that Todd Bridges (Willis) is the only Different Strokes kid still alive, and he has had a tough life as well.

Gary's parents siphoned off his money while he was working. I think he would have been better off getting emancipated but I guess he trusted them. Youthful success can be a hard thing I guess.
