Any of you DOU guys ever raced Radio Control Cars? I have been competitively racing for 20 yrs now and was curious if any of you have ever tried it. IF you think of radio shack cars think again lol. Here is a link to give you an idea of what i race.
thats some cool stuff, when you compete is there any money involved?
Seems like it would take some ultra-quick reflexes to do that. Pretty neat stuff.

Yes I seem to spend plenty of it LOL.. It considered a "hobby" so no race winnings are paid. Re way to make money is to have factory backing and win some of the major races. There is people making a living doing that. Not me though hah.
Yes fast reflexes and good eye/hand coordination is a plus.
Fascinating hobby. I tried to steer such a vehicle once, this requires imagination and a lot of practice.
I hope, Balony, that you have some considerable achievements in this field.
Good luck!
Some of those look like they handle really good.

Not toot my own horn but i have done very well in the yrs that i have raced, im basically too old and don't get to race enough anymore to be very competitive with the really fast guys. I have raced with most of the guys you seen in that video.
Abb- The high dollar crawlers like you pictured are bad ass, the have some crazy technology for just climbing on rocks lol.
The guy with the blue car in that first round was mopping the floor with the rest of them. In the second round it seemed to be the green car.
Same guy different car body?

I wouldn't doubt that myself... Some guys will bring a second car so they can cool off and rebuild the one that they just raced. Maybe two different classes?
I used to see guys race R/C dirt tracks then they switched to carpet and it seemed to fizzle out to where a Wal-Mart had been built where an R/C Air Field used to be.
