Not that rare. Clocks are cyclic, calendars too. There are all kinds of dates and sequences you can come up with if you think about it. One of my favorites is going to be 09:09:09 on 09/09/09 (Nine oh nine and nine seconds on September 9th 2009).
This comes at a nice time when I am likely to be awake and enjoying the day. π
Ja sagen Sie einfach nein, verstehen Sie?
Should be 09:09:09 on 09/09/0909 π that 2009 just really gets the good old OCD flowing.
Actually that wouldn't work because it would be 909 instead of 0909
So it would have to be a completely different sequence.

I had a girlfriend who believed that when you saw 11:11 on a clock that it was lucky and you were supposed to make a wish. I imagine she will be going nuts on November 11th, 2011: 11:11:11 11/11/11. Well more nuts then she already is. π

P.S. She will be able to make wishes twice that day, am and pm.
